Having a smooth running sled is always something to look forward to. Cleaning clutches and belts are key to keep your sled running smoothly and efficiently.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Before storing your sleds, always remove the drive belt and then spray the clutches down with a shot of storage spray to prevent them from getting a chalky white layer of oxidation over the summer.

Now when you get your sled out in the fall, be sure to clean the storage spray off the clutch faces. If you don't, you could wear an hourglass shape in your belt and ruin it. A little aceton on a rag and a quick wipe on the clutch sheaves does wonders for your sled!

This general-purpose lubricant helps protect metals against rust and corrosion.
