Stanton, Alabama. - The ninth and final round of the AMA National Enduro Series took
place over the weekend at the Gobbler Getter National Enduro in central Alabama
under unseasonably hot and dry conditions, where KX™450X-mounted Grant Baylor
capped his championship-winning season with a second overall finish.
Baylor started off the day with a second-place time in test number one before going on
to finish runner-up in the second and third tests of the day before taking the win in test
four. Baylor would then go on to suffer from small crashes in the final tests, resulting in
second-place finishes in both tests and a second-place overall finish.
“It was a good day and a great year for me here at the NEPG series. I wanted to end
the year on top to cap off a good season, but a few too many tip-overs prevented me
from accomplishing that goal. Nevertheless, I'm happy with my season and excited to
defend my championship again next year,” said Baylor.
At the end of the season, Grant Baylor would deliver three wins and the 2023 AMA
National Enduro Championship for Team Babbitt’s/Monster Energy®/Team Green
Kawasaki as a first-year member of the team. Baylor looks to carry his momentum into
next year's NEPG series as the defending champion.
